Lake Winnipesaukee is the largest lake in New Hampshire. There are neighboring small downtowns such as Laconia to grab food and enjoy the views!
Exeter, New Hampshire right of route 101 gives off a small-town vibe with great areas to walk alongside the Squamscott River.
Great Bay just 10 minutes from Portsmouth has plenty of working trails and wildlife.
Concord, New Hampshire the state's capital is a great town to visit on your way to the White Mountains
Pierce Island located in Portsmouth, is a great place to swing in the city's outdoor pool or take a walk alongside the Piscataqua River.
